Now in its 13th year, the Amsterdam Light Festival has become well-versed in adding even more magic to Amsterdam's already supernaturally stunning canals. With more than twenty light-art installations (from local and international artists) peppered throughout the city center, the Amsterdam Light Festival brilliantly (get it?) highlights (eh? eh!?) elements of Amsterdam's fascinating story. We'll be cruising around in our cozy boats, with the roof, blankets, and hot water bottles to keep everyone warm and dry.
If you, like us, enjoy a cruise with booze, make sure to stop by our headquarters for a jug of hot mulled wine!
Please keep in mind, every tour starting from 16:30 (4:30 pm) is a Light Festival tour.
ALF tours tend to be a little more on the festive side than the historical. If you prefer the latter over the former, best to opt for a tour during daylight instead, a.k.a. our Extraordinary Ordinary tours.
Whichever tour you choose, always feel free to bring anything you want to eat, drink and, if ya like, smoke!
